Nau mai haere mai ki Kaimai Mamaku Kōrero a place for 'All things Kaimai Mamaku'.
The Kaimai Ranges are a taonga to Aōtearoa, and there are some really special kaupapa happening throughout. Here you can learn about projects happening in your local area and connect with them. Whether you're an existing project wanting to collaborate with others, a school volunteering or simply a community member sending in conservation artwork this platform is for you.
Kaimai Mamaku Kōrero aims to raise awareness, share knowledge, and build capacity and momentum in our communities for collective action. As climate change impacts increase, we need resilient forests and catchments to support community wellbeing, economic prosperity, and reduce the impacts of natural hazards. We need landscape-scale conservation to avoid forest collapse and to restore the mauri of the Kaimai Mamaku.
Manaaki Kaimai Mamaku Trust is 100% committed to achieving this task and we kindly ask for your support and patience as we find and connect more groups each week!
